A 54-year-old Sheldon man was arrested about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, on a charge of public intoxication.
The arrest of Brian Lee Parks stemmed from him attempting to ride a bike and continually falling on the public sidewalk in the 200 block of Eighth Street, according to the Sheldon Police Department.
He was swaying and having trouble standing and had an open 50-milliter bottle of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, according to the incident report.
Parks pleaded guilty the next day in O’Brien County District Court in Primghar and was fined $188.25.
