Grant to aid bridge rehab on Iowa River Trail

The Iowa River Trail Hardin Commission received good news recently, as the Wellmark Foundation announced the group was one of 17 Iowa organizations to receive a Matching Assets to Community Health (MATCH) grant.

According to Iowa River Trail Hardin Commission Chairman Chris Wieting, the $100,000 grant will be utilized to complete rehabilitation work on seven bridges that are located on the trail between Steamboat Rock to the Southfork River (south of Gifford)
