Dallas County Conservation Foundation was the recipient of a $500 Walmart Community Grant. The donation will help to fund the construction of the 9-mile trail segment that will extend the High Trestle Trail to the Raccoon River Valley Trail.
Conservation Board Executive Director Mike Wallace states, “Boone County is part of the growing network of trails in Central Iowa, and we really appreciate the support from the community grant and the area store.”
