Cedar Rapids police are investigating a death near a trail on the northeast side.
Someone found the body Saturday near Cedar River Trail between 29th Street and J Avenue.
Police don't believe the public is in any danger.
Officers closed off the portion of the trail in the afternoon while they investigated.
