2014 and 2015 Farley 6 models may have fork issues
Trek in conjunction with the US CPSC has issued a
voluntary recall of all 2014 and 2015 Farley 6 fat bikes. The 2016 and
2017 Farley models are not affected by this recall.
According to Trek,
this recall was prompted by “an abnormality in the connection between
the fork and steer tube.” This defect has the potential to cause a
separation at the base of the crown and steerer, which could lead to
serious accidents. To date, there have been no reports of injuries.
