The Iowa Able Run will be held on May 2, 2015 at Ada Hayden in Ames.
We have a non competitive 2.5K that starts with the 5K and then we have a 10K (starts 30 min after 5K) and kids fun run.
Bike Support Needed
We are looking for 4-6 bikers on the course to support runners and lead the way.
The 5K is an easy figure 8 but there are a few spots where a person could get turned around if they aren't familiar with the course.
We do have signs made for miles 2-6 (and would love help with getting them placed if there is time before the run. We can try to place them the night before too).
The 10K will go on the upland trail and once we have the route finalized, we will draw up it the best we can :) - Volunteers will get a VOLUNTEER shirt and will be able to participate in all of the fun post race activities including a photo booth, bounce house for the kids, awesome snacks/food, chair massages, puppet show, balloon
animals, etc. We also have a GREAT silent auction and lots of fun raffle items.
