Ankeny, IA Authorities have charged a man in connection with a vandalism case at the new destination bike bridge near Madrid. Spencer Sisco, 22, is charged with stealing LED lights from the High Trestle Trail Bridge. Deputies talked to several witnesses and authorities said Sisco eventually admitted to taking at least four of the lights. A total of 15 were damaged or stolen. The Boone County Sheriff's Office and conservation officers are working to increase security on the new bridge. The High Trestle Bridge officially opened in late April. It is just west of Madrid and part of the Ankeny to Woodward trail, standing more than 13 stories above the Des Moines River. Previous Story: May 31, 2011:
