A cycling destination Adel, Stuart, Ft. Madison, Osceola, Elkhart, Runnels, Indianola The Raccoon Valley Wine Festival is just one week away! Saturday June 27th New this year will be a drawing for a fabulous door prize. When you purchase a full bottle of wine, the winery will provide you a ticket for the drawing. So, the more bottles of wine you purchase, the better your chances of winning. Items in the Gift Basket will include 1 bottle of wine from each participating winery, 4 commemorative wine glasses from the festival, and gift certificate/items from Italian Villages, Timberpine Lodge B&B, Anytime Fitness, Harvey's Floral, Adel HealthMart and more! Also new for 2009, you will have an opportunity to vote for your favorite wine. The winner will receive a framed certificate designating their winery and wine as the People's Choice Award for the 2009 Raccoon Valley Wine Festival. Plan to come on down to the Adel Community Stage & Pavilion for a Saturday evening with great wine, delicious food and live music! Food vendors include Brick Street BBQ, Cool Beans (desserts)and Fun Times Concessions. Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs!
