Team LIVESTRONG is committed to a campaign against cancer, through the Lance Armstrong Foundation. At the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) we believe that unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist, Lance Armstrong, the LAF provides the practical information and tools people living with cancer need to live strong. The LAF serves its mission through education, advocacy, public health and research programs. As Lance rides on the Tour de France, Team LIVESTRONG will ride across Iowa. Most riders will ride the entire week but it’s okay if you can only join for a few days. The perks of joining the Team are LIVESTRONG Iowa jersey (only available to those that ride with the team), SAG of gear from town to town, reserved campsites along the route, meet new folks from all over the USA and a nightly watching of the Tour de France via the LIVESTRONG bus!
