Rider suffers heart attack on Mayor's Bike Ride

A 58-year-old Oskaloosa woman suffered a heart attack around noon Saturday near Gray's Lake while participating in the Mayor's Annual Ride for Trails.
The bicycle rider crashed to the side of the trail that enters Gray's Lake by Thomas Beck Drive. She was unconscious and not breathing when fellow riders immediately began CPR on her but had been revived by the time she was transported to Methodist Hospital for further care.
