Okay guys & gals, this is it! Send no money because it's a FREE event this year! Here's how you do it: Get a standard post card and write the following on it..... #1 Your Name, (You know it, you love it!) #2 Category, (Choose one: Men's Open, Women's Open, and Single Speed/Fixed Open) #3 Your e-mail address, (strictly confidential and only used to keep you updated once you are on the roster) #4 Your phone number (we prefer a cell # that can be used to call you during the event. If you do not have a cell phone, use your Dad's or somebodies, for crying out loud!) All four requirements must be on each post card sent or the entry will not be valid in our eyes. We also reserve the right to refuse damaged, or unreadable post cards. Put a postage stamp on it for the proper amount! Send your post cards to this address: Europa Cycle and Ski c/o Trans Iowa V3 4302 University Avenue Cedar Falls, Ia 50613 Make sure you get them in by December 15th. Any cards received past this date will be disposed of and will not qualify for the lottery drawing to be held December 16th. The results of which will be posted at www.transiowa.blogspot.com and in the endurance forum at MTBR.com. Okay, if ya want in, now's yer chance! We'll recycle all the post cards we receive by making prayer flags out of them and putting them at the top of all the big climbs! So make sure they are pretty! As a reminder to those who might have missed it, Trans Iowa is going to be held the weekend of April 28th-29th as a loop course of approximately 320 miles to be finished in 33 hours or less. The event is free, but is limited to a roster of 100 folks who will be chosen by lottery from a pile of postcards on the shop floor of Europa Cycle and Ski on December 16th. You may send as many or as few post cards as you deem necessary, but they all must be filled out with the required four parts of information described above. The post cards must be received in legible form and by no later than December 15th! We make no money on this, (in fact we're losing money on the event....we're crazy like that) we do it for fun.
