John Maxwell was killed on Sunday near Dallas Center while bicycling. The family and funeral director have invited cyclists to the funeral services.
A memorial ride to the Friday (Sept 29th) funeral is being organized by Kim West meeting at the parking lot in Waukee taking the trail to Ortonville and then up county road R16 to Dallas Center. The ride will leave the Waukee lot by 9 AM and arrive in Dallas Center by 9:30. The funeral services are at 10 AM at Grace Bretheren Church located at 3rd and Hatton Streets in Dallas Center, Iowa.
