Trans-Iowa V.2 registration will open on Saturday, December 17 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The link to registration is found on the site listed below: First 70 are in! Latest Blog by Jeff Kerkove: 12/09/05: Only a little more than a week away from the opening of registration! Are you having a little trouble deciding what to do? Still sitting on the fence? Well, get that barbed wire outta yer chamois and listen up! This is a reminder to all of you contemplating entering this sufferfest that there are time limits. The race is scheduled to start at 4am. You will have until 6pm. that afternoon to complete approximately 157 miles of gravel goodness. Then it's on through the night, and you have until 3pm. the following day to complete the course in Decorah, Iowa. Again, the course is approximately 337 miles in length. There will be a new twist this year for Trans-Iowa V.2. All riders will be self supported from start to finish with no outside support.
