Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on January 16, 2025 in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Per Kent's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. Memorials in Kent's name may be directed to his family for a later designation.

Kent he was a member of the Iowa Valley Bike Club. In his free time, Kent loved to ride his bicycle. The year he turned 50, he completed 50 century rides.
