Megan Strader MASON CITY, Iowa (KIMT) Saturday, July 9, 2005 Dozens of people were hitting the roads this morning...but on only two wheels. This is the first annual Bicycle, Blues and Barbecue Festival in Clear Lake. It kicked off with riders taking the streets on one of three different rides. They ranged from only a few miles to over 70. And, organizers say Saturday's ride is a great way to gear up for a much bigger ride later this month. Shane Cooney tells KIMT Newschannel Three, "This is a good pre-RAGBRAI route. Should be a fun day. We've got stops out there for people to take a break and rest a little bit...but something for everybody." There were also free blues concerts in City Park as well as barbecue stands where people could grab something to eat. www.northiowatouringclub.com/
