The Phase 3 segment of the Tribe Trail in New Hampton was declared complete in late September.
Megan Baltes has been involved with the project since its inception in 2016. She says it took a little longer than anticipated to finish the recreational trail.
Baltes says many of those contributors will be recognized with a donor board at the trailhead at Mikkelson Park.City officials will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 am Wednesday (10.16) at the end of South Western Avenue in New Hampton. There will also be golf car rides until 10:30 am for those who want to tour the final phase of the trail from South Linn Avenue to the Chickasaw Wellness Center.
