Trooper Mark Toney died in a car crash in 2011. He was preparing to pull someone over south of Indianola when his car left the roadway for an unknown reason, leading to a rollover.

On Wednesday, his son Darrin Toney and his wife Melissa were joined by a group of troopers to pay respects along this year's RAGBRAI route.
