Thanks to a generous RAGBRAI donation, Mt. Pleasant is $5,100 closer to erecting an all-inclusive park
Thousands of RAGBRAI participants enjoyed their overnight stay in Mt. Pleasant last Friday, July 26 and they expressed this gratitude not only in words but also with a $5,100 donation.
RAGBRAI Director Matt Phippen presented the Mt. Pleasant RAGBRAI committee with a large check in the amount of $5,100 on the entertainment stage in Central Park Friday night.
These funds will go toward the development of Lee Town Park, an all-inclusive playground for children of all abilities to enjoy. The playground will be located on a city owned property on East Cedar Lane.
