Des Moines Police are helping one boy out after his bicycle was stolen. The boy, named Irene, goes to his summer internship, biking to and from the facility.
Earlier this week, police say someone cut the chain and stole his ride. That's when Officer Kyle Keesey stepped up to help. He gathered donations from family, friends and other officers and replaced Irene's bike.
Scheels also hopped on the giving train and donated a new helmet and bike lock for Irene.
