The City of Dubuque has been awarded a $25 million grant to build a railroad overpass located at 14th Street, as well as implement bike lanes throughout the city.
The Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) Infrastructure Implementation Grant comes from the U.S. Department of Transportation and will help support the multi-phase project in Downtown Dubuque.
The grant will go towards the construction of Building Bridges to Employment and Equity (B2E2) project which is a multimodal transportation project that focuses on connectivity and safety for all users within the designated transportation corridors.
