One person died after a bicycle vs. truck crash on North Division Street, Davenport, police say.
Davenport police, fire and Medic EMS were called at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday to the 7000 block of North Division Street for a reported crash involving a bicyclist, according to police.
Police said they found a pickup truck was southbound on Division Street when it hit a bicyclist.
The bicyclist, a 27-year-old man, had fatal injuries on the scene, police said. The driver of the pickup truck, a 54-year-old male, was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
Names are being withheld at this time pending family notifications, police said. The Davenport Police Department Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the crash.
