Dubuque city staff have selected the route for the community’s first bike lanes located on city streets.
Documents presented to Dubuque City Council members this week show that the city intends to install a westbound bike lane downtown on 10th Street and an eastbound bike lane on Ninth Street. Those two bike lanes would connect via Bluff Street and via Elm Street near the Dubuque Intermodal Transportation Center.
Dubuque City Council members also approved a grant application for Dubuque Metropolitan Area Transportation Study’s transportation alternatives program.
