A bicyclist is dead after a crash on Highway 218 this afternoon.
Iowa State Patrol says it happened just after 2:00 p.m. A vehicle crashed into a bicyclist on Highway 218 and 51st Street in Benton County.
The bicyclist died as a result. He has been identified as 87-year-old John Rice of Dysart.
