The Bike MS: Cruise the Cornfields Ride is just one of five Bike MS events put on by the North Central States Chapter. Riders pedal over 150 miles in just two days and raise awareness and funds to create a world free of MS. The route will head from Des Moines to Marshalltown. Riders will be treated to breakfast each morning, complimentary food and beverages at various rest stops about every 8-10 miles along the route, as well as a team of bike repair experts and plenty of support vehicles. Lunch is provided at a rest stop each day, music, a variety of food, massages, and excited cheering crowds await the riders at the finish line. On Saturday evening, a banquet is held for all riders, volunteers, and their families. CANNOT ATTEND BUT WANT TO DONATE THE CAUSE? Bike MS is an opportunity to move yourself and help move us closer to a world without multiple sclerosis. Over 400,000 American families must deal with the uncertainties of multiple sclerosis each day. People with MS may experience numbness, blindness, loss of mobility or cognitive issues. These people know that moving is not a guarantee. MS can stop people from moving. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society exists to make sure it doesn't. Learn how. Bike MS is also a celebration of how far we have come. In the past decade, new treatments have helped people with MS keep moving. New research breakthroughs are being announced each day. We know that a cure for MS is not far off and we are asking participants at Bike MS to join the movement to end MS. Whether you join the movement by biking alone and raising money, being a team captain and encouraging your team to add new donors and riders, or by volunteering at the event - you are making a difference. So register today, get involved and join the movement! If you would rather mail in your registration, download the form and mail to: National MS Society 8187 University Blvd., Suite B Clive, IA 50325
