Trail Clean up Day for the John Pat Dorrian and Neal Smith Trails on Sat April 23rd.

Downtown Des Moines - In honor of Earth Day, Starbucks, Downtown Community Alliance, and Operation Downtown are sponsoring an effort to clean up the bike trail in Downtown Des Moines. On Saturday, April 23 from 8:00 a.m. to Noon Volunteers will meet near the Locust Street Bridge at Pete Crivaro Park in Downtown Des Moines. The clean up will proceed north along the John Pat Dorrian and Neal Smith Trails. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided for each volunteer.
