What: Get some new cycling gear by helping the hungry! When: Every Tuesday from December 1st through March 1st 2005 Where: Stop into any of the bike shops listed below! Bring in 6 canned food items to any one of these participating Des Moines area bike shops on Tuesdays between now and March 1st and receive a one time only 20% off selected accessories. Don't have the 'canned' goods? You can still help with a donation - make checks payable to: 'Food Bank Of Iowa' remember - This offer is only good on Tuesdays. The Food Bank of Iowa is a private, non-profit charitable organization with the mission to alleviate hunger and reduce food waste. In 2003 a network of 280 non-profit agencies in 42 Iowa counties channeled 4,011,385 pounds of donated food to 108,487 needy families and individuals.
