Help raise money for Derecho relief efforts and ride at the same time

Our friends at Fender's Brewing in Polk City are raising money for Derecho relief efforts and for those in need in Central Iowa!

On August 10, 2020, a windstorm with hurricane-like winds, called a derecho, ripped through much of Iowa and neighboring states toppling trees, downing power lines, and wreaking havoc on whatever was in its path. It affected nearly a third of our state.

Fenders sustained minimal damage, but many families and businesses were not as lucky. Fender's decided they wanted to step up and help those less fortunate.

They are planning a virtual ride on Sunday August 30th and want folks to share their rides online for a good cause.

Select your donation amount and amount to donate to the Derecho relief efforts. Then record your ride (any time on Sunday, August 30th) and share via social media, tag Fenders and use #TourDeRecho.

100% of the donations collected will be given to the local Red Cross efforts to support people affected by the storm.
