Course Description

Moorehead Park is a jewel that has been hidden right under our noses. As of recently it has come to find it’s place on the Iowa IMBCS Series. 750 feet of elevation gain each lap will test your legs as well has your downhill skills. The course has many flowy corners that can be taken faster each and every lap, due to the smoothness of the trails and the quality of the soil. Little will get in your way on race day because the trails will absorb the rain water, and 85% of the course will be shaded from the sun. Logs and bridges will be on course as well as some bermed corners. CAMPING: On site there is camping, a big playground, running water, toilets, and a lake. FOOD: Bergman Quarter Horses will be providing the best Sloppy Joe’s ever to all racers.

411 Directions

Moorehead Park is located on the west end of Ida Grove right on HWY 175. When you see Pizza Hut on the south side of the HWY, travel west across the bridge and you will see a large brown sign with Moorehead Park on it.
