DISTACNCE - 200 Miles
OK200 orchestrates an epic, one-day, 200- mile bike ride and/or
run from West Des Moines, IA to Okoboji, IA. We ride to raise funds and
awareness to help support human traffic survivors in Nepal and Des
Moines, IA. This is a well organized, no drop, ride that takes place on
June 26th, 2015. We start from the Valley Stadium Parking lot at 5am
sharp. We have predestined stops every 30 miles on the route which our
volunteer crew will have nutrition and hydration products set up for
you. To ensure safety of the riders, we have a lead vehicle and and
follow vehicle, giving us the ability to ride in a rolling blockade.
Our Objectives
1. Use a one-day 200-mile bike ride as a tool to raise funds and awareness to help fight human trafficking.
2. Raise money to support the efforts of local and international partner
organizations that help fight against human trafficking.
3. Increase awareness of the problem of human trafficking both internationally and locally.
