Road

Distance - Approximately 70 miles

Approximately 70 miles along scenic routes from Lake Rathbun to Keosauqua, Iowa. Riders will travel through 3 counties, Appanoose, Davis and Van Buren.

Much of the ride is gentle terrain, however, there are several very hilly places along the route.

Free entertainment will be provided in Bloomfield and Keosauqua.

Route

Start - South Side of Lake Rathbun Dam

Travel North on J5T to HWY 142.

Travel East on 142 to Moravia.

Travel on J3T to Drakesville, going through the towns of Unionville and Bunch.

Travel south out of Drakesville on county road to Hwy 2/63.

Travel east on 2/63 (High Traffic Warning) to Bloomfield.

Lunch on your own in Bloomfield. Bands will play on the square.

Travel east on J40 towards Keosauqua going through the towns of Troy and Lebanon.

Just outside of Keosauqua, riders will have two choices. They may stay on J40 into Keosauqua for a leisurely end to the ride, or they may choose the hill challenge through scenic Lacey Keosauqua State Park. Distance is about the same, but the Hill Challenge is a very strenuous ending to the ride.

Music will be provided in Keosauqua City Park.
