Party Ride

Distance - approximately 30 miles

This charity fun ride is designed for any type of rider who wants to have FUN. There are plenty of stops along the way to enjoy the local establishments, stay hydrated, and support two great causes.  All proceeds will go to Spay Neuter All Pets of Floyd County and C & W Rustic Hollow Shelter.

The Charles City Fire Department will be leading us out of town as we ride out of town.  Stops will include the CC Riders' bus on the route and several other fine establishments.  We will end the ride at DeRailed in Charles City.

Check-in and registration is available at the Pub from 10 am-Noon on the day of the ride.  You must check in and sign the ride release prior to the ride (if you did not pre-register).

Helmets are strongly encouraged.  Sorry, no refunds.  The ride will go on rain or shine.  ALL proceeds go to Spay Neuter Assistance Program of Floyd County and C & W Rustic Hollow Shelter, Nashua. 

Release and waiver agreement:

In consideration of acceptance of this entry,  I waive and release the administrators, supporting organizations, sponsors, contributors, officials, and volunteers from liability for any injury or accident I may suffer during the course of this event.  I also agree that I, my assignees, heirs, distributes, guardians, next of kin, spouse, and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of any release in connection with any of the matters covered by the foregoing release. 

If signed by parent or guardian: I verify that the dangers of the activities and the significance of this release and waiver were explained to the participant and that the participant understood them.

Route

Route will begin at the Pub on the Cedar, proceed to The Shed in Bassett, then on to The Hideaway in Ionia, and return to Derailed in Charles City.

Registration

This is a free ride. We are asking for a $25 donation that gets you a one-of-a-kind ride t-shirt. 100% of the money raised by this event will go to the local Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) and C & W Rustic Hollow Shelter. This programs are designed to help prevent pet overpopulation by providing spay and neuter assistance to those in need, caring for unwanted animals, as well as rescuing strays and placing them in adoptive homes. If you do not want a t-shirt, we are just asking that you make a donation of your choice.  Registrations must be in by May 10th to guarantee a t-shirt.  Email Jill @ jillconnell@hotmail.com for a registration form.  Forms can also be picked up at the Charles City YMCA.   You can also register the day of the ride(from 11am-noon), but we cannot guarantee a t-shirt. There will be a supply available that day.  You can also choose to make a donation of your choice if you don't want a t-shirt! We will also have "Just Fix It" bandanas for sale!  For those interested in staying over night in Charles City, the Super 8 is located at 1411 S Grand (641-228-2888) and The Sleep Inn is located at 1416 S Grand (641-257-5687). Camping is available at R Campground located just off the route at 105 Smith Avenue. The phone number is 641-257-0549.
