The community of Ringsted will be one of the pass-through commuities on this year's RAGBRAI. This Flag Day Bicycle Ride is a community event which will help raise money which will be used for T-shirts, etc., for this ride but will also rise funds for the RAGBRAI event in July. The terrain on which you will ride is fairly flat with a few gentle grades and will take place on paved county roads. Food and bevrage stops will be provided along the three routes as well as Sag Wagon Service. Registration begins at 8:00AM and the ride starts at 9:00AM. A BBQ lunch will be served from 11:00AM until all riders have returned. Registration fees are $20.00 by May 27th and $25.00 after May 27th. There will be a Kid's Bike Safety Program at 10:00AM -- watch for further details on this special event! There will also be a "Danish Bike Ride" held in Railroad Park!
