Party Ride

Distance - 25-30 miles

The Ankeny Jaycees along with Jethro's LakeHouse are hosting the Jethro's Charity Cycling Classic (JC's) ride on Saturday, October 12 in Ankeny. The fun begins at Jethro's in Ankeny and will go up the High Trestle Trail to the Nite Hawk bar and grill in Slater, back to the Wheelhouse in Ankeny, and finishing up back at Jethro's LakeHouse with live music. There will be a raffle for items from Oakley, Nike, Bike Iowa, Jethro's and more! Proceeds from this fun ride will benefit the Ankeny Jaycees and will help support charitable efforts in the Ankeny Community.

Route

Packet pickup and tailgate at Jethro's in Ankeny from 9AM to noon. Leave around noon to head up the High Trestle Trail to the Nite Hawk Down bar in Slater with hydration station at the Oasis for registered riders on the HTT. Have fun at Nite Hawk until around 5PM and ride back to Ankeny, stopping at the Wheelhouse for supper and a raffle drawing, back to Jethro's later in the evening for a night cap and live music.

Fee is $15 until October 1, $20 after October 1. Additional $10 for ride shirt and food buffet at Jethro's in the morning. Ride is open to all however registered riders will get a goody bag with stuff from Bike Iowa, Kyle's Bikes, Bike Country, Wheelhouse, Jethro's, Ankeny Chiropratic Clinic, and more. Registered riders will also have access to our 'hydration station' at the Oasis along the HTT on the way up and back. Raffle tickets for prizes from Oakley, Nike, Jethro's and more will be available for $2 each or 6 for $10.
