Distance - 31.2 miles
| A Social Bicycle Ride around Clear Lake to Garner, Ia Duesey Days and back around the south side of the lake making our way back to City Park. There you can sit by the lake to watch the bike races, watch the entertainment in the park, or enjoy the sunset view. ..............................If it's raining a lot???? It's not happening..................... There is no affiliation with any event or organization nor businesses for this ride.......Please due come Friday evening for the entertainment in the park and BBQ vendors.....show up early Saturday for a drink and stay late to watch the Fast Crit Racing! |
Route
NOON: start at the V.F.W. on Main st. ride north around the race course onto North Shore. Stop at Veterans Memorial Golf Club, keep riding west to Colony Inn Ventura. Ride west a few miles and south a half mile and back west into Garner to Mat's Place and to city park to check out the town celebrations......Awesome food stands!.......Head back East to Sugar and Slice in Ventura. From there we will turn south around the lake via Bike Path and on to Clear Lake Tiki Bar. Keep truckin East and rounding North at the Official last stop, The Landing( South Shore Inn). Then back up town to watch the racers and enjoy the entertainment in Clear Lake City park........31.2miles......7 or 8 stops
