Party Ride

Distance - 21 MILES

The ride is sponsored by THE ENGLISH PUB, HARTER 
HALL & TEAM DAWG CYCLING CLUB, LYLE THEISEN.
Dyersville is known for their St. Patty's Day 
Celebration. We will have a few barley pops before 
leaving for Petersburg, and for those who would 
like to start and spread a little Irish Cheer may 
join us at the THE ENGLISH PUB in downtown 
Dyersville ( 3 block East of the twin 
spires/steeples). THE ENGLISH PUB will have beer 
specials and mixed drinks. This 21-mile ride will 
start at the Heritage Trail parking lot or the 
ENGLISH PUB downtown at 10:00, and travel to 
HARTERS HALL in Petersburg with a stop at Recker's 
Oasis. Robb & Kelli will have the welcome mat out 
and beads for everyone!!! Harter Hall is a big 
hall with plenty of ice cold beer and mixed drinks 
to quench your thirst. Harter Hall has a 16' 
bigscreen TV setup for hopefully for some Iowa 
basketball team or we will be playing wii, and 
have crazy bike games. Harter Hall will have 
overnight in house bike storage if needed. They 
will also have shuttle bus service back & forth 
from Dyersville all day and night. The Dyersville 
St. Patrick's Day Celebration and Parade starts at 
1:00 and whether you make it back is up to you. 
No registration to ride. Shirt will be available.

The ride will take place rain or shine. Hotels are 
available (Colonial Motel @ 875-7194 Comfort Inn 
875-7700, Super 8 @875-8885 )in Dyersville. 
DRIVING DIRECTION to the Heritage Trial Parking 
Lot: Hwy 20 east or west bound take the 136 north 
exit and travel north through town past the water 
tower past the ball diamond and turn right as you 
cross the railroad track, by the old army military 
tank. The Main Entrance is located 1 Block East of 
the church for those who would like to start in a 
laid back atmosphere may join us in downtown 
Dyersville ( 1 block East of the twin 
spires/steeples.

Route

This ride will start in Dyersville at The Heritage 
Trail parking lot at 10:00 and will travel West to 
Petersburg. The route will be generously marked 
and is ridden at your own pace for all ages to 
enjoy. The ride travels west on the Beltline Rd. 
and turns north by Tegeler's Pond / U.S. Feeds on 
332nd Avenue across the tracks to Ted & Meg 
Recker's Oasis for beverages (and his birthday 
day party) and then to Harter's Hall on the 
southern edge and across from the grain elevator 
in Petersburg. The Dyersville St. Patricks Day 
parade starts at 1:30 and whether you make it back 
is up to you. The party at Harter Hall will last 
late into the wee hours so one could call it a 2 
day event.If you cannot stay the entire time, some 
will be spending the rest of the evening at THE 
ENGLISH PUB. The WELCOME MAT is always out, so
