RAID 2011 is a 300 mile, one-day, bike ride/race across Iowa. RAID will start in Council Bluffs and continue along Hwy 92 to Muscatine. There’s no qualification process to participate in this event, but you must be able to maintain an average speed of at least 16 mph in order to complete the race in the allotted time.
For those not quite ready to tackle the full 300 miles, there’s also the RAID Half. Riders can choose to ride the 150 miles from Council Bluffs to Indianola, or from Indianola to Muscatine.
