Recap/Results

Thanks to all the racers that came out and endured the weather and hills. This was a rather tough course with 750 feet of climbing per lap. A rider from the men 4/5's cyclometer read 3000 feet of climbing for 30 miles. I'm guessing the men p123 faced down around 5200 feet of climbing in 50 miles. The wind gave no reprieve on the easier segments of the course so there wasn't really anywhere to get a break.

Iowa City next, slightly less distance per lap with shorter yet steeper climbs on the SE corner of the course. Same gig the race will go off unless we have freezing rain.

Remember women 4's and men 4/5's, there is an overall for the top 3 in each class getting free entry into the Iowa City RR & Criterium. You have to ride 2 of the 3 races to qualify and the highest point totals are the overall winners. The more riders in a class the more weight that race carries towards the overall.

Registration opens at 8:00AM and closes 20 minutes prior to each class start. Registration is at Rock Creek State Park.
