Here we go again folks! Don't miss one of the biggest (and earliest)rides of the year. A sure cure for that cabin fever, this ridin' and rockin' bicycle extravaganza boasts live music at both ends and as always NO COVER CHARGE! The Rocket Surgeons will start those dancin' feet a tappin'at 2:30 in Brandon. Iowa's numero uno party band, Electric Mule, will rock your socks off at Two Friends Tap from 7:00 'til ? So strap on the dancin' shoes (and beer goggles) and LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!

Route

26 mi. round trip from La Porte to Brandon and back, depending on trail conditions you can take the awesome cedar valley nature trail or the low traffic highway route, tons of party stops no matter which route you choose! TRAIL UPDATE AS OF WED. MARCH 31st!: The trail is in surprisingly good shape but you'll want your mountain bike or hybrid for the combo route (5 miles hwy, 2 miles gravel,7 miles on the trail)several rough spots but are clearly marked. Keep in mind, the Cedar River bike bridge is OUT due to extensive damage from the '08 flood....hence the combo route, bypassing the bridge. There will be flyers with directions and plenty of signs marking both routes.

Registration

Hey come on! have we ever charged a registration fee? I think not! there will be limited edition low cost collectible t-shirts if you want to fly your fools ride colors, just drop us an e-mail so we can reserve one for ya. These things go fast, we saw Lance Armstrong wearin' one on RAGBRAI, seriously!...no really!
