Description
Charity Ride
Distance - 150-200; you decide
A fun and challenging ride from near Cedar Rapids to Marshalltown where you will meet up with riders from DesMoines for a fun and refreshment at the finish. Take the optional challenge of a full Centrury ride on Saturday or take the shorter 72 mile route. Riders return to the start on Sunday with another celebration dinner at the finish. Riders will be treated to breakfast each morning, complimentary food and beverages at various rest stops about every 8-10 miles along the route, as well as a team of bike repair experts and plenty of support vehicles. Lunch is provided at a rest stop each day and music, a variety of food, and excited cheering crowds await the riders at the finish line. On Saturday evening, a banquet is held for all riders, volunteers, and their families. Bike MS is an opportunity to move yourself and help move us closer to a world without multiple sclerosis. Over 400,000 American families must deal with the uncertainties of multiple sclerosis each day. People with MS may experience numbness, blindness, loss of mobility or cognitive issues. These people know that moving is not a guarantee. MS can stop people from moving. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society exists to make sure it doesn't.
Route
The route is moderatly difficult. With stretches of open plain. We will have SAG vehicles to pick up those who do not want to continue the ride. Come and join us. If it is too much of a challenge we can drive you to the finish line. It's a great and gorgeous ride with rest stops every 8-10 miles. FOOD! FUN! BIKE! What more do you need?
