WHO

Team Smokin' and Burnin' (Delhi/Manchester)

Description

Party Ride

Distance - The ride will range from 15-23 miles, depending on where you stay overnight

In an attempt to get an annual ride going around Delaware County, Team Smokin and Burnin is gathering a group to get our butts in condition for the long biking season that we all look forward to. It is NOT A RACE!!!! It is an opportunity to get all the partygoers (or non-partygoers) together for a fun Saturday ride. There are a lot more bikers around than what people realize, and this is a chance to get everyone together!

Route

Starting in Manchester (where RAGBRAI rolled through last year), the ride will go to Earlville, Delaware, Delhi, and Lake Delhi. It is pending on whether or not we will have a bus taking people back to Manchester who want to partake in the Lake Delhi activities but don't want to ride their bikes back to Manchester afterwards. The party at Lake Delhi will be at the Camp O Bar and Grill (ALWAYS known to be a GREAT time!!!!). BEERPONG, TIPPY CUP, BEANBAGS, and much more will be available to make the drinks go down faster (as if they won't already). Plans have changed and camping will not be available at Camp O. The association (who owns the beach) would not approve. Camping spots are available at Bailey's Ford Park. Bailey's Ford is located about 5 miles north of Camp O and about 4 miles south of Manchester. To get to the park from Manchester, you simply go south on D5X (Bailey Drive) for about 4 miles and you will see it on the right. The route to Bailey's Ford from Camp O will be marked. Email with any questions.

Registration

To register, email ANesteby30@hotmail.com Registration is not REQUIRED, but would be VERY APPRECIATED. This is the first year for this ride, and we have NO IDEA how many people will be attending, so registration will be our only way of estimating. When registering, please include how many people will be attending.
