The second annual Mahoney's to Mahoney's Ride (Voodoo Lounge Tour) will be on July 9th... Starting at Mahoney's Corporate, at 1602 E Ave. N.E., the heart of the Irish Triangle. This demanding athletic event will depart about 10:30, progress through to Kokopelli's, where the Bud Bus will perform all the RAGBRAI standards (it is purportedly the LAST YEAR that the Blues Brothers will perform), and after rehydrating a bit, will wind up in Alburnett at Mahoney's for more of the same(if you can't find it, you are in the wrong town...). This event was a blast last year, and should be even better this year. It really captures the essence of the day stops on RAGBRAI. We may be donating a part of the proceeds to Julie Moffett, a dear friend and RAGBRAI veteran who was severely injured in a motorcycle accident several weeks ago, and is still in a coma...
