Tour de Rock is a great recreational bike ride on the Volksweg Trail near Pella, Iowa. This paved, asphalt trail showcases Lake Red Rock, Iowa's largest lake, and it's surrounding parks and lands.
Route
This year's route includes a 30-mile ride of the Volksweg Trail. Or, cyclists may choose a 50-mile ride that heads south of Pella, crosses the Des Moines River en route to Tracy, Iowa, and returns to the Volksweg Trail.
