Road

Distance - 24, 40, 50 & 65 mile routes

The ride will begin with a mass start from the YMCA at 8:00 a.m. The ride itself is one of the most scenic routes in all of north central Iowa. We have four different levele from a 24 mile ride that is perfect for the novice, all the way up to a challenging 65 mile cross country workout.

Route

The routes all start from the YMCA and head out on the beautiful River Road, to the first stop at the old school house, where bananas and drinks are provided. The bikes continue on to Miller & Hayfield where the short routes head due north and on home. The rest of the bikes head on into Crystal Lake where the 40 milers return home as the rest head west for Woden, where a lunch is offered at the local cafe for a resonable price. The 50 milers head on in as the 65 milers turn west for Titonka, and back by the Barn & Caylor Acres. All routes are well-marked, paved on county blacktops, "If you are on gravel, You're on the wrong road!"

Registration

Registration is 7:00-7:45 a.m. at the Forest City YMCA. Ride begins at 8:00 a.m.
