The Flannel Iowa River Fatbike Adventure Ride
Returning for another mixed terrain adventure on all the stuff, with options from 20 - 50 miles through the scenic Iowa River greenbelt area in Hardin County. Years ago & deep in the lair of bad acronyms, the FIRFAR was born - it used to be fantastic but that’s a bit subjective, so this year it’s also a fall fashion show - bust out your finest flannel...bonus points if head to toe. We’re also helping out a toy drive again this year (see below for more on that).
The routes include - * gravel roads * gravel trail * dirt road * dirt trail * grassy Level C road * mowed grass trail * paved road * paved trail
Coffee time starts ~ 9:15AM (bring your favorite camp coffee method to brew up & maybe enough to share a bit?). Wheels rolling at 10AM. It’s the last day of daylight savings time, so one last day to soak up the sun?
