What a GREAT turnout today for the new Trestle to Trestle bridge the connects Johnston and Des Moines! Speakers at the ribbon-cutting were from Polk County Conservation, City of Johnston Government, Polk County Board-Supervisors and of course Carl Voss !

Please join fellow cycling enthusiasts and community leaders to celebrate the opening of the new trail bridge over Beaver Creek.
The grand opening event will feature several speakers who have championed the trail bridge project from fundraising to design to final construction.

WHAT: Trestle to Trestle Trail Bridge Grand Opening Celebration

WHEN: Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.

WHERE: Trestle to Trestle Trail Bridge (Google Map link) in Johnston Iowa.

PARKING: Car parking space is VERY limited and reserved for the speakers and fundraising champions so... RIDE YOUR BIKE THERE and arrive in style on two wheels! Bicycle parking is unlimited!

The trail is official open on this day!

Trestle to Trestle Trail Bridge is a critical connector on the Trestle to Trestle Trail that connects Johnston and Des Moines.
