Join Des Moines Parks and Recreation on Sept. 26 or virtually for a 10-mile bike ride! The 10-mile ride has a family-friendly scavenger hunt that is included with registration, where you are challenged to find city amenities along the route based on photos and riddles. The scavenger hunt is a fun activity for you, your family or group; no submission required or prizes included.
RIDE DETAILS
Begin your ride at Captain Roy's. Packet pick-up is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Drop in during that time and enjoy the ride! There will be no set start time so you'll be able to enjoy the ride on your own, with your family or a group of friends, from a safe social distance. Registration includes a bike route (DSM trails), a family-friendly scavenger hunt that pairs with the bike route, and a jack-o-lantern buff.
VIRTUAL RIDE DETAILS
The virtual option is on your own. Registration includes a digital bike route (DSM trails), a digital family-friendly scavenger hunt that pairs with the bike route, and a jack-o-lantern buff. A virtual packet will be sent on September 25 with those items and the buff will be sent directly to the mailing address provided when registering.
