Wednesday Night Ride is welcome to all ages and levels of riders. No rider will be left behind. Most of the time we ride on sparsely traveled county roads of southern Story and northern Polk counties. Occasionally, we will have a ride on the Heart of Iowa Trail (limestone).
We are usually a small group with a speed between 10-15 mph, but can adjust lower...and maybe a little higher.
Our route is determined by those who show up each week. We gather at 5:30 p.m. at the Story County Freedom Rock in Maxwell (behind Casey's General Store).
We will follow social distancing guidelines as they apply to Story County.
Helmets are highly recommended, as are headlights and tail lights.
