Everyone is invited to come to Grinnell Iowa to enjoy a weekend jam-packed with good vibes for a good cause. The fun starts off Friday night with live music and organic wood fired pizza at Grinnell Heritage Farm. Turn in for the night with camping options there at the Heritage Farm but not before enjoying even more live music and food at Grinnell Central Park. On Saturday morning coffee and donuts will be served at the starting line in Central Park to fuel your Prairie Burn fire as you take off on the first 25 mile loop. The first loop is highly rewarding for novice riders or you can continue on to the second, slightly hillier loop for a nice 50 mile ride. You will need to take advantage of all the local food vendors in order to tackle the final loop that hits the biggest hills in Poweshiek County for the full 100 Mile Prairie Burn. As riders come in, Central Park will be filled with food, music, beverages and family activities and most importantly all of your cycling friends. This is a non-competitive cycling event focused on growing the cycling community and raising funds for Imagine Grinnell and promoting its mission of creating healthier people and a healthier environment.
