Trail Ride

Distance - 24 Miles

Relay for Life of Dallas County is hosting Bike for Life Poker Ride, starting and ending at Forest Park Museum in Perry, to raise awareness and support fundraising efforts for the American Cancer Society, aiming to 'bring us one step closer to creating a world with more birthdays.' 

Lunch with homemade treats will be served beginning at noon. 

Prizes will be awarded for the top 2 hands.

Route

The poker ride will be on the Raccoon River Valley Trail between Perry and Minburn, starting at Forest Park Museum on the south edge of Perry, approximately 1/4 mile south of Hwy 141 on the west side of K Avenue, where riders will register and get their first card. Riders will head south on the trail towards Minburn, where they will pick up their second card at the Minburn depot. Continuing on, riders will pick up their third card at the Dallas Center trailhead, at which point riders will turn back to pick up their fourth card back at the Minburn depot and return to Forest Park Museum for their fifth and final card to complete their poker hand.  Ride is approximately 24 miles round trip.

Registration

Registration is $30 and includes a t-shirt, route map, water stops and lunch. Register by July 1 to be guaranteed a shirt.
