Welcome to ALMANZO. Since 2007 we have been producing barrier free cycling events in the state of Minnesota.
At Almanzo we strive every day to create, build and foster strong, barrier-free communities of like-minded people where the bicycle is the link that connects them. We have never charged an entry fee and we never will.
Our events are simple in that we only ask participants to commit to signing and showing up. In return we offer several different distances that participants can choose from. We provide course directions just before the event dates, we send everyone off from the start line and we wait for every single rider to finish. We do not offer mid-ride support.
We do not host checkpoints where riders are mandated to sign in. We believe in you. We believe in your integrity. We believe in the community we’ve built and we expect you to be responsible for yourself for the duration of your time here.
